Health Benefits of Onions

Onions are a high source of vitamin C, B6, biotin, chromium and calcium and very rich in fibre too. They have very high amounts of folic acid and vitamin B1 and potassium.
Onions also have high quantities of sulfurs which are good for the liver. As a sulfur food, they work well with proteins, so they stimulate the action of the aminos to the brain and nervous system.
